Mindy Kaling, who is the best, will write, executive produce, and voice a character for a new “animated comedy project” for NBC, Deadline reports. Parks and Recreation producer Alan Yang will helm a similar project. The Office and Parks and Rec executive producer Greg Daniels (also a King of the Hill co-creator) will executive produce both programs. “One of our focuses will be to return Greg to primetime animation,” NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt tells Deadline.
